The Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is hosting their 11th Annual Golf Classic on Friday July 22nd at the Darlington Golf and Country Club.   The Auxiliary held their first golf event in conjunction with the Memorial Messenger back in 2001.  The outing has blossomed into a well attended event that now includes silent and live auctions, raffle, lunch and dinner, music and more!  The vibrant volunteers of the Auxiliary have so much fun coordinating, planning and working the event, it has become their largest annual fundraiser.

Chris Andrews has been busy constructing a new lighted display case for the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary to donate to MHLC.  After much planning this display case is now in our main lobby.   The case will be used to highlight upcoming events that MHLC is sponsoring.   There is also an area for brochures.   The Auxiliary contracted Chris to build the case.  Chris graciously donated his time and the Auxiliary provided the supplies.   We really appreciate the donation of Chris' time and the donation by the Auxiliary your dedication to MHL

The entire staff at MHLC needs to be the recipient of the Heart to Heart Award.  Without everyone doing their job, the care received by the patient would be inadequate.   With everyone at MHLC believing in the MHLC motto "We treat you like family", therefore the care the pateint receives is above and beyond expectation.   The professionalism of the entire staff is to be commended.  Thank you for your excellent care given to our father at the age of 101.

Dorothy Isely recently completed her 34th year of service to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County.   In honor of her years of dedication and endless commitment to caring for our Community at the hospital she was given an embroidered throw.  She had hoped to just fade into retirement but was surprised with a congratulatory cake.  We wish Dorothy well and hope she has a happy, healthy retirement.
