Pharmacist

 POSITION SUMMARY: The pharmacist is responsible for the daily operations of the pharmacy as well as the provision of clinical pharmacist duties for patients.  The pharmacist is responsible for medication procurement and distribution to meet the patient’s needs.  He/she will also be responsible for providing direction to the pharmacy technician staff as well as other members of the health care team.  The pharmacist will work collaboratively with other MHLC team members to promote the safe handling, storage, distribution, and administration of all medications.  The pharmacist will provide consultative services to the medical staff and will provide support, education, and training to the clinical staff.  He/she will work with the Director of Patient Care Services, and the other pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory and health and safety standards.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program
• Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license.
• CPR Certification
• Computer knowledge.

 ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION:

• Some weekend coverage
• Full benefits package
• Clinical Pharmacist experience preferred.
